Love is Immortal
Love is immortal. It is the driving force of all life. Once the need for love sets a heart on fire it will last forever, for it cannot forget itself. Whatever may happen to it, everything will always seek for love until it finally finds it in everything. Longing for love can grow, but it can never die. Even when a heart is embittered, it will still need love as much as ever, in some form or other. Love is an ever growing light that shines from the end of our tunnel as we walk through it, onward to infinity. It is the energy of life of the universe, for some way or other it is in all we do the energy with which we act, even if it is the love for darkness. It is the creative force behind all that exists.

I like your post here on love.
You are right about it. It is the driving force. I know that you are exploring other areas of philosophy, but do not over look the heart and love/compassion/understanding. A lot of smart people go around in circles on a lot of different topics. I notice how I make better decisions and feel better and am able to move into and out of different situations as long as I hold onto love.

Thank you, Mike, for your comment. I know thinkers often concentrate only on analytical things, and I proud myself in that I'm different in that aspect. Though I used to think myself very analytical too, I actually do everything from the heart, especially now.

That's great! I also try to do the same thing. Although, my ego is often at odds with living heart centered. ;)

I accidentally came across your site a few weeks ago while putting together tidbits of physics information that shows that Consciousness (God, Source or an Intelligent Designer) exist for a group of atheist mom's. It has been a disheartening few weeks for me because while speaking to these women, i realize just how jaded they are and I don't know why. Some where, some how down the line, something disappointed them and now they have decided to raise their children in a regimented, colorless world. Personally, I believe to each his own. But every now and again, my heart strings tug at the thought that these children will grow up to not have something to believe in, hope for, or trust in. All of my life, it has been my Faith in the Universe's capacity to love without discrimination that has enabled me to keep doing the right thing, to keep believing in humanity (knowing all energy is One), and that something great is always waiting for me at the end of every event (sometimes learning a lesson is enough for me). And after getting worked up over these mother's and what they had to say I started to become frustrated (something I rarely do again)...
And then i read this, and it brought forth a rememberance of light and inspiration which helped me to realize that whether those mother's raise their children in this fashion or not, it is ultimately consciousness that runs the show, and everything will be as it should and our Universe is perfectly capable of helping/handling us! Thank you. It was very beautiful.
This was my favorite line:
"Once the need for love sets a heart on fire it will last forever, for it cannot forget itself."
